InVision is looking for a friendly and energetic individual to join our team. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are a must. As a Vision Rehabilitation Specialist, you will provide vision rehabilitation services to children and adults. You will collaborate and consult with staff to provide services to clients with visual impairments. The ability to establish a rapport with patients and family in a positive, upbeat, motivational, and empathic manner is essential.
To succeed in this position, you should be organized, able to manage your time and priorities effectively, and have demonstrated ability to communicate with all types of people. You must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
No experience necessary as training will be provided, however, a background in patient care, body work (yoga, massage, martial arts, personal training) and/or experience working with people with disabilities is helpful.
InVision is a vision rehabilitation clinic. About 50% of our clients are children with learning disabilities and 50% are adults who have sustained a brain injury. We use research-based exercises to help clients build and rebuild brain function.
Hours are Monday-Thursday, 8:30-5:00. Schedule can be flexible based on availability. Afternoons are the highest patient demand.
All patients and employees are required to wear a mask, surfaces and equipment are sanitized frequently.
