Michelle Cohen, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Michelle Cohen is a Florida native who decided to put roots down in Albuquerque. She attended the New England College Of Optometry. From there she started out working at the Walmart Vision Clinic for half the year and the other half providing vision care to children in other countries who otherwise wouldnot have access to such services.
After working in a couple different optometry offices, Dr. Cohen found there was a need for Behavioral Optometry in Albuquerque. In 2015, Dr. Cohen opened her own practice. She is introducing new and exciting techniques to allow the brain and eyes to functionally communicate together.

With over 20 years of experience in the medical field, I have dedicated my career to supporting patients, providers, and healthcare teams. Since beginning my journey in 2004, I have gained experience across hospitals, corporate-run clinics, and private practices. For more than 14 years, I have served in Clinical Manager and Practice Manager roles, developing a strong understanding of both patient care and the operational side of healthcare.
I have a true passion for what I do and take pride in creating strong, organized foundations where providers and staff can thrive while patients receive compassionate, high-quality care. My leadership philosophy is built on teamwork, communication, efficiency, and fostering a positive environment where everyone feels supported.
